Harmonic Resonance:
The Ruleyics were designed around the concept of beings who exists in harmony with the vibratory dynamics of the cosmos. The ability to generate as well as perceive resonating frequencies as a people allows Alimarians and Xexus to communicate in nonverbal signals that are employed through psionics and perceived only in the minds of their local peers. This can sometimes appear like a hive mind which extends to the limits of a collective’s proximity. Too far away and the ability to recognize the patterns being broadcast breaks down. This harmonic resonance isn’t limited to signaling distress, or communicating in general, for adepts and in certain bloodlines the abilities which can be employed are truly impressive. From using a sort of echo-location which can virtually see through walls, to causing touched objects to rupture or otherwise violently tear apart. This tactile emission of vibrations appears in different ways, from an Alimarian engineer warping a rivet into place, to a Xexus marauder sawing open the haul of a transport liner after identifying the goods on the inside. In certain mediums like water harmonic resonance can amount to a near total control of the physical environment extending their reach and speed tenfold.
