Abilities
Hokey is the unique psionic ability that most all orc bloodlines possess which allows them to conjure up potent natural materials to forge an animated avatar for a summoned spirit to inhabit. Often this conjuring and summoning is accompanied with illusions that give the hokey its stunning appearance. This magic triad is far more powerful than any effects gained by other forms of conjuring and summoning employed through darker means, and the use of illusions to embellish the avatar is also done in a way very unique to the orc style. The part of what makes hokey such a powerful ability is the psionic component, the connection to the spirit world for orcs is like a connection to their own memories. In an orcs mind the connection to a spirit embodying the hokey is that of one mind. In the employment of hokey an orc simply calls out to the spirit and the remembered form it tends to inhabit either audibly or in a silent thought and the spirit answers the call. Once the illusion is cast the hokey takes it’s full form and does the orcs bidding without resistance.
