Mankind is the body of people who decended from those first men and women brought into the worlds by Eros. These humans came as two races, the Nephilite and the Eroscain. Together they had domain over the well-nigh endless coasts of Ephora, around the Great Ocean. Here the two races of man built up impressive civilizations of their own and began some of the first explorations of the cosmos.
Appearance & Anatomy
Eroscans: These fair skined people have straight black hair, almond shaped brown or green eyes, and have a strong written tradition.

Nephilites: These dark skined people have wavy brown or black hair, round brown or black eyes, and have a strong oral tradition.

- Weight: (170lbs – 320lbs)
- Skin Color(s): Dark shades of brown.
- Hair Color(s): Black or Brown
- Resilience:
Eshelorans: These people are the decedents of those offspring of Eroscains and Nephilite parentage. They have many distinguishing features, but do not always bear the same resemblance. They sometimes posses mono-lid eyes, and only in the Eshelorans do you find blue or purple irises. Though some posses none of these traits, but have defined brow ridges, as well as an abundance of body hair.

Abilities
Ephorism is the unique control of certain fields of stable energy found everywhere within our cosmos. This energy can be called the cosmic force, and is often related to the potential power behind mechanical energy (telekinesis). This power in manipulating fields of energy outside of one’s body is limited to only a few races of mortals, but the specific form that ephorism takes on is something humans alone can do. The form that typically follows an Eroscain or Nephilite adolescents development of their skills goes something like this:
- First they gain control over close lying fields that wrap around the hands or feet like a glove.
- From there they gain control over layers of fields that cover the whole body, like a second skin. At this point there are also internal practices that can be performed which would heal damaged organs and tissues. Though this comes with extreme patience and an in depth knowledge of the bodies inner workings. If not catastrophic trauma is typical, leaving many diswaded from this very useful pursuit.
- Ftom there the users can begin to poject additional layers of fields that give the effect of marveling strength and resilience.
- From that point the adept projects a greater and greater number of feild layers, these numerous fields easily store an arsenal of missiles, darts, weapon holsters, and physical armor onto the user’s person with a comfortably secure hold.
- As the adept continues the production of possessed feild layers, a sphere of influence developes around the body which extends to encompass more and more space, in various densities.
- An advanced ephorian has complete control over their sphere of possessions, and the ability to accelerate dramatically the kinetic potential of objects within or even near this area of control.
Culture & Behavior
Like all mortals, humans relate their cultural origins and behaviors to those Archons of Eros which first taught mankind the truths their shared demiurge intended for his children.
Eros being a primordial force of love in the cosmos designed the humans to be beings of intense emotions, and gave them weaker bodies that their powers of ephorism would not ruin their potential for the humility he intended for them.
By making man into two distinct races, the Eroscains and the Nephilites, Eros sought to test his own design. For if love flourished between these differently minded dipoles of human thought, their offspring would be less advantaged in there inability to use the ephorian trait. This test saw itself out in the expansion of the human domain as they unreservedly colonized their immediate cosmic neighborhood to escape the strict thinking of those pure blood Kingdoms ruled by Eroscain or Nephilite dynasties.
