Verrena

This dark realm has a very strange history of being a world that for the most part was never meant for mortal habitation. Built originally as a required feature of the cosmological design, this realm was taken up by no one Demiurge as a favored realm, but was acknowledged by all as a meeting place.

Set atop Mount Meru these lands were once shear stone edifices carved out in the elaborate signature of devine design. However eventual sediments brought up from the lower realms deposited hear. Mixed with the erosional debris from the slow decay of the grand pedestal and the breakdown of megoliths and canal ways formed a sort of terrestrial surface in a ring surrounding the Great White Sea. Here those waters brought up from Gaia and Cablin come rushing out of Mount Meru as a monumental geyser that slams into the nearly impermeable stone roof over Verrena.

These lands which formed around this churning white ocean were once picturesque garden groves, with many fountain, and statuary courtyards of titanic proportions. When these immortals came to Verrena they did so in a contemplative attitude, and enjoyed the anesthetics of the ring realm’s titanic proportions. The demiurges made gateways from all realms to this one for which only they, the immortals could operate.

These archways were used by Yaldabaoth in his wars against the cosmos, and allowed the Mamenta to become the first mortal colonizers of Verrena.
